1512 Batavia Avenue (constructed c. 1912)
– The Fabyan Lodge, part of Geneva’s Riverbank
Laboratories, was designated a Local Landmark in 1999 (link
to page). Since that time, rehabilitation work on the Lodge
has included repairing deteriorated wood siding, repair and
restoration of the original wood windows, roof repairs and
new shingles, repainting, and extensive interior work (which
the Historic Preservation Commission does not review). The
owners of the Lodge were given two awards, one for the rehab
of the Lodge and one for construction of a new coach house
that is sensitive and architecturally compatible to the historic
buildings (see Awards for New Residential Construction).
