 Geneva
had two historic districts listed on the National Register
of Historic Places in 1979 and 1982. These two districts were
combined into one local historic district through the Geneva
Historic Preservation Ordinance in 1987, which was amended
in 1994. In 1997, Geneva became a Certified Local Government,
as established by the U.S. Department of the Interior, which
furthers the level of commitment to preserving the historic
areas of our community. Shown here are the boundaries of Geneva's
local historic district.
