The City of Geneva adopted long-range comprehensive plan recommends expanding the network of bikeway-routes in the City and the surronding area. The City Council has decided to formulate a detailed implementation plan to guide the planning, design and installation of bikeway route improvements. The bikeway implementation plan is a "high priority" City project. There is strong interest by groups and individuals to expand the City bikeway network, promote safe and convenient biking throughout the City and link existing bikeway routes. This interest is further supported by a desire to make it easier for bike riders to move throughout the City and to communicate wayfinding information on bike routes more effectively. |
