City of Geneva - Construction Projects

2011 Residential Meter Testing

Project Description
The City of Geneva Electric Utility annually solicits sealed bids and contracts with a testing company to inspect and test a percentage of the utility meters. For FY 2010-11 the contract is with “Luthan Electric Meter Testing” out of Kentucky. Testing will commence in March 2011 and be completed by the end of April 2011. The testing will consist of approximately 230 residential and 231 commercial meters. The meter testing map shows the general area where the City will be testing residential meters. Commercial meters do not lend themselves to a specific geographic area and are scattered throughout the city.
