Route 25 Resurfacing Project
Route 25
The Illinois Department of Transportation will be resurfacing Route 25 from Route 64 in St. Charles south to East Wilson Street in Batavia during late summer and fall 2017. This project will include the entire stretch of Route 25 (Bennett Street and Crissey Avenue) in Geneva.

Pavement grinding is expected to start in in the second half of August with resurfacing operations taking place in late September through October. Sidewalk improvements are included as part of the project.

When IDOT work begins, motorists should expect daily lane closures along the construction zone. Potential alternate routes include Kirk Road and Route 31.

Latest Update
Crews may possibly start layout of the Route 25 sidewalk along with removing and replacing curb and gutters the week of Aug. 14. The work is weather dependent.
