Business Improvement and Retention Committee
The Business Improvement and Retention Committee (BIR) has been instrumental in keeping communication alive between downtown businesses, overseeing a downtown Block Captain program, planning Geneva Business Workshops, and an annual Frontline Training program for businesses. If you’d like to be involved with the BIR, contact the City's Business Development Specialist Jamie Heflin at 630-938-4555.

Block Captains
Block Captains help facilitate communication between the BIR and merchants. In addition to distributing information about upcoming programs, they can act as a liaison between merchants who have concerns and the BIR or city staff. Being a Block Captain can help you build your business - as you network with your neighbors, cross referrals increase. If you'd like to be a Block Captain, please contact Eric Ott at Geneva Running Outfitters at 331-248-0221.

Downtown Geneva Pinterest and Twitter
The BIR Committee has created a Pinterest page, GenevaShopsIL. If you're a downtown merchant and would like to be featured on this page, please click here to learn more.
