Landmark Designation
Any person, group or association - or the Historic Preservation Commission on its own initiative - may request landmark designation for any improvement or site that is located within the corporate limits of the City and which may have historic significance.

Upon receipt of a completed application for landmark designation, the Historic Preservation Commission will study the property and make a report containing preliminary findings as to historic, architectural and aesthetic significance.

If, as a result of this study, the Commission finds that the nomination merits consideration, a public hearing will be scheduled within 60 days of the date that the application was filed.
