With five major festivals and a variety of smaller events throughout the year, there is always something fun happening in Geneva.

French Market
Sundays, April 16 - Nov. 12
The French Market brings farm fresh produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, jewelry, handbags and more to downtown Geneva every Sunday from mid April to mid November. The market is held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Metra Train Station at Fourth and South streets.

Downtown Trick or Treating
Oct. 26, 2017
Kids are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and trick or treat in downtown Geneva. Participating restaurants and shops will have a sign in their window and offer treats from 2 - 5 p.m.

Art Affair
Nov. 10, 2017Art Affair
The Geneva Cultural Arts Commission will be hosting its latest annual fundraiser, Art Affair, a fabulous salon style cocktail party with live music and painting, hors d'oeuvres, fine silent auction, and cash bar.

Christmas Walk & House Tour
Dec. 1-2, 2017
The traditional Christmas Walk begins at 6 p.m. on Friday evening as Santa makes his appearance to light the Great Tree and open his Gingerbread House for the season. The House Tour is held on both Friday and Saturday. Five unique homes decorated for the holidays will open their doors to visitors.

Steeple Walk
Dec. 3, 2017
Listen to beautiful holiday music in the setting of four of Geneva’s historic churches. You will be treated to a variety of folk songs, instrumentals and Christmas classics. Each of the Steeple Walk performances lasts about 20 minutes.

Geneva Restaurant Week
Winter 2018
Geneva Restaurant Week is pleased to highlight culinary excellence by offering an entire week of delicious discounted dining at some of Geneva’s finest restaurants! No coupon or ticket is necessary. Just mention to the server at one of the participating restaurants that you would like the Restaurant Week offering.

Geneva Film Festival
March 8-10, 2018
The 10th Annual Geneva Film Festival will return in 2018 with even more wonderful independent films. Meet filmmakers, producers and other film buffs during this exciting festival.

Wedding Walk
Late Winter/Early Spring 2018
The Downtown Geneva Wedding Walk is the perfect time to see all Geneva has to offer to plan your unique wedding. Brides will have a chance to meet with venues, boutique shops, and visit some of the top wedding businesses in Chicagoland.

Swedish Days Festival
June 2018
Geneva’s largest festival features a host of family-friendly activities with live musical entertainment, a carnival, Kids’ Day fun, Sweden Väst, a Grand Parade, multi-ethnic food plus great shopping in our historic downtown. Geneva’s train station is located just blocks from the festivities.

RiverPark Concerts
RiverPark Concert Series
July 2018
A variety of musical and theatre performances are held during this free event on Sunday evenings in July at the RiverPark Amphitheatre on North River Lane.

Geneva Arts Fair
July 2018
More than 140 artisans in a host of mediums from around the country are showcased along Third Street in downtown Geneva. Free admission; includes a children’s art area.

Geneva Classic Car Shows
July and Aug. on Thursday Evenings
Check out the shining chrome and gleaming engines of antiques, custom build, sports and muscle cars along with food, music and a DJ; free admission. Fourth & James streets (Courthouse Parking Lot).

Classic car enthusiasts will gather together again this year in Geneva, Illinois to view a beautiful collection of antique, classic and modern automobiles. Participants from all over the country will display their prized automobiles on Third Street hoping to be awarded one of the coveted "Benz" trophies.
