French Market
Sunday April 17, 2016 - November 13, 2016
The French Market brings farm fresh produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, jewelry, handbags and more to downtown Geneva every Sunday from mid April to mid November. The market is held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Metra Train Station at Fourth and South streets.


Christmas WalkChristmas Walk & House Tour

December 2-3, 2016
The traditional Christmas Walk begins at 6 p.m. on Friday evening as Santa makes his appearance to light the Great Tree and open his Gingerbread House for the season. The House Tour is held on both Friday and Saturday. Five unique homes decorated for the holidays will open their doors to visitors.

Christmas Walk Live Windows
Friday, December 2, 2016 
Following the Christmas Walk, many of downtown Geneva's storefront windows will "come alive" with dancers, artists, and beautiful models. Click here for more information. 

Steeple Walk
Sunday, December 4, 2016
Listen to beautiful holiday music in the setting of four of Geneva’s historic churches. You will be treated to a variety of folk songs, instrumentals and Christmas classics. Each of the Steeple Walk performances lasts about 20 minutes.

Geneva Restaurant WeekGeneva Restaurant Week

Geneva Restaurant Week is pleased to highlight culinary excellence by offering an entire week of delicious discounted dining at some of Geneva’s finest restaurants! No coupon or ticket is necessary. Wedding Walk
Spring 2017
The Downtown Geneva Wedding Walk is the perfect time to see all Geneva has to offer to plan your unique wedding. Brides will have a chance to meet with venues, boutique shops, and visit some of the top wedding businesses in Chicagoland.

Geneva Film Festival
Spring 2017
The Geneva Film Festival will return in 2017 with even more wonderful independent films. Meet filmmakers, producers and other film buffs during this rapidly growing festival for independent films.

Jump-start your gardening season at Gardenology. Advisers and vendors will bring their best ideas and garden related products to downtown Geneva. Swedish Days FestivalSwedish Days Clown
Saturday, June 20 - June 25, 2017
Geneva’s largest festival features a host of family-friendly activities with live musical entertainment, a carnival, Kids’ Day fun, Sweden Väst, a Grand Parade, multi-ethnic food plus great shopping in our historic downtown. Geneva’s train station is located just blocks from the festivities.

Geneva Classic Car Shows
July and August on Thursday Evenings
Fourth & James streets, (Courthouse Parking Lot)
Check out the shining chrome and gleaming engines of antiques, custom build, sports and muscle cars along with food, music and a DJ; free admission.

Geneva Arts Fair
July, 2017
More than 140 artisans in a host of mediums from around the country are showcased along Third Street in downtown Geneva. Free admission; includes a children’s art area.

Classic car enthusiasts will gather together again this year in Geneva, Illinois to view a beautiful collection of antique, classic and modern automobiles. Participants from all over the country will display their prized automobiles on Third Street hoping to be awarded one of the coveted "Benz" trophies.

Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival
September, 2017
Eight stage areas present concerts, hands-on workshops, topical song & story workshops, dance, vocal & instrument classes and special things for the kids in Geneva's beautiful Island Park.

September, 2017
Geneva restaurants create an array of specialties under an outdoor tent at the “Flavor Fare” partnered with wine and live musical entertainment. The Flower Market offers fun fall decorations including pumpkins and gourds. An arts and crafts show, horse-drawn carriage rides and several exceptional wine tasting and dinner events also take place around the historic downtown.

A feast for the eyes, mouth and soul... The Geneva Cultural Arts Commission will be hosting its annual Eat Your Art Out! gala, where guests come together on one night to support the GCAC, creating diverse cultural arts experiences for the community throughout the year.
