The Geneva Film Festival was founded in 2007 to provide a platform for independent filmmakers to show their work to the public and gain exposure. 

Annual March film festival
Geneva Film Festival sponsors an annual three-day event in March featuring screenings of independent films from around the globe along with workshops hosted by industry professionals. The 2014 film festival is scheduled for March 6-8.

Lights, camera, action!
The Geneva Film Festival is now accepting filmmaker submissions for the 2014 festival. Categories include Features (narrative, documentary or animated) and Shorts (narrative, documentary, animated or student produced). Deadline for submissions is November 15. "The Employer" now available on DVD
"The Employer," winner of a 2013 Special Jury Award at the Geneva Film Festival, has been released on DVD. The movie stars Malcom McDowell and was written and directed by Frank Merle. Merle's comedy short, "What Joan Knows," was screened at the 2007 Geneva Film Festival.
