Mobile Data Computer
Mobile Data Computers give field units the capability to access vehicle and drivers information from the Illinois Secretary of State office. We also have the ability to receive information from the National Crime Information Center, NCIC. Other state resources such as criminal history checks, are also available. This particular brand of MDC runs on a Microsoft Windows platform which gives us access to word processing programs for in car report writing.
