AT&T Construction

ATT Conduit Installation Opens in new windowAT&T announced plans to replace outdated cable television, Internet and phone service equipment located in utility easements on Geneva's west side.

Work included boring through the easements, which are typically a strip of land running along the street, sidewalk, rear lot line or between two lots. New conduit will then be installed underground.

Project Work Zone

Installation work took place from December through early spring, primarily along Peck Road from Keslinger to Bricher roads. The impacted subdivisions include Prairie Ridge, Westhaven and Prairie View. A larger version of the map can be viewed by clicking the image on the right.

Phoenix Energy Services, AT&T's contractor, placed door hangers on all impacted properties.

Updates

Installation work has been completed. AT&T will be restoring lawns in spring 2019 where the digging occurred. The restoration phase is weather dependent.

Residents are then encouraged to water the impacted areas following the turf repairs.

AT&T has informed the City that no other projects are being scheduled for Geneva at this time.

Residents who have questions regarding the construction should contact AT&T directly.

The City will update the website as information is made available from AT&T. Residents can subscribe to receive project updates from our Pardon The Progress construction blog.
