The applicant is also requesting a Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment to reduce the required amount of parking for apartments in a transit-oriented development - defined as a higher density, mixed-use development within approximately 0.5 miles of a transit station.
The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the Text Amendment reducing the required amount of parking for apartments in a transit-oriented development. The Commission recommended the use of the downtown parking moratorium map as the boundaries for the reduced parking requirement (11-11A-4B). The Commission also recommended approval of the Site Plan Review.
