Welcome to the Verizon Wireless Tower development project page, where you will find documents related to this project. The applicant is requesting a Special Use to allow for a 100-foot monopole tower to be constructed at 1749 S. Randall Road. 

Balloon Test

As part of the project review, and for the benefit of surrounding residents and property owners, the applicants will conduct a “balloon test” at the site from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 20. In the event poor weather conditions (typically wind or rain) or other factors require a rescheduling of this test, the alternative test date during those same hours Wednesday, April 21. Balloons will be flown at the site to demonstrate the height of the proposed tower.

Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 22 before the Planning and Zoning Commission at Geneva City Hall, 109 James St.

City of Geneva meetings are now a combination of live and virtual. In addition, meetings are livestreamed for the public to provide the ability to contemporaneously hear all discussion, testimony, and roll call votes of the open meeting in real-time. While the public may be limited or restricted from attending meetings in person, individuals wishing to provide public comment may do so in advance (recommended) or during the meeting by sending an email to: Emails must be received prior to noon on April 22.
