The petitioner is requesting a comprehensive plan amendment from “Single-Family Residential Attached” and "Single-Family Residential" to “General Commercial”; a zoning map amendment from “D-MHR Mixed High-Density Residential District” to “D-CM Commercial Mixed-Use District"; two variations upon rezoning from Section 11-4A-11 to allow a maximum interior side yard setback of 28 feet instead of the required 8 feet, and a maximum street yard setback of 22 feet instead of the required 15 feet; and site plan review for a proposed mixed-use development. 


Following the Sept. 14 public hearing, the City’s Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously recommended the City Council approve the requests. The City Council will consider the recommendation at its next meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 at Geneva City Hall, 109 James St.
