The City's 2021 sidewalk and curb maintenance program started the week of Oct. 25 but only about half of the removal and forming process was completed due to inclement weather. Work resumed Nov. 3 and hopefully will be completed by week's end, weather permitting. After the contractor saw cuts the old concrete and pours the new surface, a five-day curing period will be required.
The City sent notices to impacted residents prior to construction starting in their neighborhood. Property owners who are having sidewalk work being done over their driveway will need to park their vehicles on the street. A project location map details where work will be taking place this fall.
