The Beautification Committee's third annual Tour des Fleurs fundraiser was a resounding success! The public voted for their favorite gardens, and the winners were announced at the Festival of the Vine. Funds raised at the contest will allow the all-volunteer group to continue its mission of beautifying downtown Geneva.
The first place winner was the "Lovin Geneva" garden located at the corner of State and Third streets. Pictured (from left) includes Tony Sisto of STC Capital Bank, Beautification Committee Co-Chair Sherri Weitl and Tour des Fleurs Coordinator Debbie Reitz. Sisto is holding the Fleur Cup, a traveling trophy that the winning garden can display throughout the year. All three top place finishers were awarded Geneva gift certificates.
The second place winner was "Miss Ella" garden located at the corner of Third and James streets. Pictured (from left) includes Miscella Real Estate members Patti Rambo and Maureen Fisk along with Weitl and Reitz.
The third place winner was "Eastside Beau Jardin." located at State Street and East Side Drive. Pictured (from left) includes Eastside Gardners member Maureen Dixon, Weitl and Reitz.
