We have shops specializing in coffee, tea, chocolate, gelato, ice cream, popcorn, baked goods, gluten-free, spices, olive oil, wine, and local brewing.
The French Market brings farm fresh produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, jewelry, handbags and more to downtown Geneva on Sundays late April to mid-November. The market is held from 9 a.m.to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Metra Train Station at Fourth and South St.
Historical Architecture
Visit the Geneva History Museum at 113 S Third St. for a peak into Geneva’s past. Wonderful exhibits about Geneva, as well as award-winning traveling exhibits are always on display for visitors of all ages to explore. The Museum offers guided walking tours about architecture, cemeteries and the Historic District. A self guided Public Art Tour and Walking Tour of the Central Historic District can be downloaded from their website or a paper version can be purchased at their gift shop.

Outdoor Recreation
If you plan to get outdoors during your visit, Geneva has a wonderful system of trails and bike paths to explore. We are also home to Fabyan Forest Preserve, a scenic park on the Fox River with fascinating attractions. There are bountiful parks in Geneva with playgrounds and a touch of nature. Sports
The Fox Valley Ice Arena houses two ice rinks, a sporting goods store, a fitness center, and a pub and grill. The Fox Valley Ice Arena is home to the Chicago Steel, Chicagoland’s only Tier 1 Junior (20U) hockey team. Purchase tickets to attend a home game or drop in during public skate hours and rent skates.
Join baseball's Midwest League Champions, the Kane County Cougars for America's favorite past time. In addition to watching baseball's up and comers, Kane County Cougars fans will enjoy select theme nights and special events at Northwestern Medicine Field, including Star Wars Night, Halfway to Halloween and Princess Night.
