More than 3,500 customers on Geneva's west side lost power June 13 after Commonwealth Edison's power service dropped from two of the City's substations.
The outage occurred around 12:08 p.m. for residents served by the Peyton Street and Western Avenue substations.
Geneva's Public Works Department crews mobilized and rerouted power to other operating substations. More than 2,200 customers had service restored in 15 minutes or less. All power was back online for customers by 12:45 p.m.
