Twenty-two customers living near Peck and Kaneville roads on Geneva's west side lost power at 12:40 p.m. Dec. 6 after construction crews digging in the area inadvertently struck an underground electric line.
The Geneva's Public Works Department was able to isolate the damaged section and re-energized the line to restore service in the 900 blocks of Sunflower and Bluestem drives as well as the 3400 blocks of Wild Prairie and Winding Meadow lanes.
The outage ranged from 85 minutes to just under two hours.
