A defective insulated fuse holder caused 72 Geneva customers in the downtown and historic district to lose power at 5:20 p.m. Dec. 10.
The Geneva's Public Works Department was able to replace the defective piece, restoring power by 6:23 p.m. Dec. 10 for all customers. The outage impacted homes on River Lane as well as Campbell, Franklin, Fulton, South, First and Second streets.
