A squirrel walking on a power line triggered an outage at 5:50 p.m. April 2 that caused 58 customers to lose service in the Geneva Manor subdivision on the City's west side.
The outage impacted residents living on Scott Boulevard, Sherman Avenue, Pine Street, Maple Court, Syril Drive, West Street, Millbrook Court and Burgess Road. Geneva Public Works Department crews were able to refuse the power line, restoring service to 48 customers at 6:35 p.m.
The remaining customers were brought back online between 7:05 and 7:20 p.m.
