This blog is designed to provide updates on what caused outages after service has been restored. [ARCHIVED] Fox River Trail Parking Lot To Be Closed As Entrance Repaved

Update - July 25
The project now has been shifted to Monday and Tuesday, July 29-30 due to a construction equipment failure with the City's contractor.

The revised schedule is weather-dependent.

Update - July 19
Due to the weather, the paving dates have been adjusted for this project. The entrance, as well as access to the Geneva Park District parking lot, will now be closed Friday, July 26 and Monday, July 29 as the contractor resurfaces the area near the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The entrance drive will be open during that weekend. The pedestrian path is anticipated to remain open throughout the duration of the project.

Original Post - July 15
The entrance to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant off Route 25 will be closed for repaving during the week of July 22. One of the impacts is the Geneva Park District's parking area at the bottom of the hill near the Fox River Trail will be closed during construction.

The City has notified the Geneva Park District of the upcoming project, which is weather dependent.
