Geneva Public Works responded to a power outage that was caused by a blown fuse on an electric pole at 3 a.m. Oct. 3 in the Williamsburg Subdivision.
About 33 Geneva customers were impacted on Sherman Avenue, Pine Street, Burgess Road, Millbrook Court and Maple Court.
Electric crews replaced the lightning arrestor, which had failed, and closed the fuse back inside. Power was restored to all customers by 5 a.m. Oct. 3.
