The City of Geneva is making sanitary sewer improvements this spring for the Geneva East subdivision and a few other locations throughout the community.
Visu-Sewer, the City's contractor, is cleaning and televising sections of the sewer system. Crews are then rehabilitating manhole structures and performing grouting work to stop groundwater infiltration from entering the system. Sanitary sewer lining also will take place in certain sections to correct structural problems.
Crews are scheduled to be grouting the week of May 3 on sections of Manchester Course.
Maps detailing future work locations can
be found on the
City's website. The overall project is expected to substantially completed this spring, weather permitting.
