A squirrel triggered a power outage on Geneva's west side March 25.
Five customers in the 600 block of Richards Street lost service at 8:08 a.m.
Geneva Public Works Electric Division crews refused the transformer and replaced the wildlife protection power line to restore service at 9:59 a.m.
Another 896 customers (north of State Street, South of Gray Street, west of Wheeler Park and east of Sixth Street) experienced an instantaneous bump but did not lose power after the substation breaker opened and reclosed automatically.
