[ARCHIVED] Northbound Third Street To Be Closed For Several Hours May 7 For Rooftop HVAC Installation

A section of South Third Street will be closed for several hours Saturday, May 7 as construction crew members replace business rooftop HVAC units in downtown Geneva.

The northbound lane of Third Street is expected to be shut down north of James Street and south of State Street (Route 38) from 7 to 10 a.m. to accommodate the contractor's equipment. The installation will be taking place at 21 S. Third St. Southbound access on Third Street will remain open, but drivers are asked to use caution when traveling near the work zone.

Motorists can use First (Route 31), Second and Fourth streets as alternate routes.
