Promoting community safety is always our number one goal, and nobody does it better than the Geneva Police and Fire departments. While fighting crime and putting out fires is important, community education is another key component to making sure our residents have a "safety-first" mentality.

Metra To Conduct Safety Blitz Campaign In Geneva

The Metra Safety Department will be conducting a Rail Safety Blitz campaign from 5:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 at Geneva's train station.

During the Safety Blitz, Metra employees from the Safety, Police and other departments will be handing out rail safety information to riders along with some promotional items.

Metra also has shared a safety brochure that is available to read online.
