2022 Underground Electric Replacement Program Underway

Posted on September 6, 2022 at 4:52 PM by Kevin Stahr

The City is enhancing electric service reliability by replacing underground utility cable in four areas of Geneva.

Utility Dynamics, the City contractor, started work on South Street (near Gary & Shelia lanes) Aug. 29, and Hill Road near Whitfield Drive Sept. 6. Crews anticipate beginning in the Burgess Road area the week of Sept. 19, weather permitting. More information can be found in the Aug. 15 City news release.

The Fabyan Parkway project also is scheduled to take place later this fall.

A project map and additional information can be found on the City's underground electric replacement program web page.
