Two Geneva industrial customers lost power for more than five hours Aug. 2 after an underground cable fault was detected in the 2000 block of Gary Lane.
The City received notice of the outage at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 2. After searching for the faulty cable, crews dug up and repaired the wire along with rebuilding the riser pole.
Power was restored 1:15 p.m. Aug. 2.
