After plowing more than 18 inches of snow between Feb. 5-12, many Geneva residents took the time to share their appreciation for the Public Works Department for working long hours and for the City's communication outreach.
Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback with us via social media and email. It meant a lot to our staff!
Thank you for your work! I just did my commute to Aurora, and Geneva was the only town remotely clear as of noon Sunday! Good job!
Same, I was so happy with Geneva's roads on my morning and afternoon commute today. Great work, thank you.
Great work through all this snow. We really appreciate it!
Thanks for your great work!
That's why we love Geneva! It doesn't stop there...it's the town Mayor, park district and police department, etc. We love Geneva!
You guys are great!
Thank you all. Big snows this past week. Never once had trouble traveling around Geneva.
We wondered about garbage pickup today (due to the snow), so we hopped on the City website, and as usual, found excellent, up-to-date information about pickup as well as other helpful weather-related details.
Weather emergencies, utilities, recycling, meeting schedules - no matter what it is, we can always find what we need on the City website. Thank you so much for your efforts, we sure appreciate it!!!
Shout out to all the snow plow drivers who will be up all night plowing! Hope you all got a good day's sleep and some hot coffee!! Thanks for your hard work!
