  1. Fox River Arts Ramble

    April 21, 2018, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Greater Geneva Art Guild will be at the American Legion, 22 S. Second St. Other locations listed in Geneva and throughout the Fox Valley.

    The event is hosted by the Fox River Arts group and includes more than 40 participating artists and art groups. This self-guided tour will take people through the Fox River Valley on a journey of the arts. The Greater Geneva Art Guild will be represented in Geneva’s downtown area at the American Legion. Fifteen artists will be showcasing their work which will be for sale as well. The Guild event is free and will feature water colors, oils, acrylics, stained glass, ink, colored pencil and jewelry in all styles. Artists will be doing demonstrations and along with live music. Light refreshments will be served and a few other surprises will be on tap for the day. The Art Guild, which was formed five years ago, is a part of the City's Cultural Arts Commission.

  2. Earth Day

    April 21, 2018, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Peck Farm Park

    Geneva celebrates going green with the City's Natural Resources Committee and Geneva Park District's Earth Day festivities at Peck Farm. Residents can purchase rain barrels, receive a bicycle safety check, learn best “green” practices and shred documents for free. The Kane County Recycling program will be accepting electronics. Monitors will be collected at a cost of $25 or $35 based on size (cash only). Other Earth Day highlights include children's games and activities, chair massages and more. Families also are invited to walk Peck Farm at their leisure to enjoy the natural surroundings.

  3. Geneva French Market

    Bensidoun USA will again operate the French Market on Sundays in beautiful Downtown Geneva. Vendors at this open air market will sell items such as vegetables, fruits, flowers, oils, cheeses, tea, baked goods, pasta and homemade soaps. There will also be some unique goods such as apparel and art. Come take a stroll through the market each weekend through mid-November.

  4. Art For All At City Hall

    April 24, 2018, 7:00 PM @ Geneva City Hall Council Chambers

    The Art For All at City Hall program was established to highlight talented student artists from Geneva Community Unit School District 304. At the spring program, Mayor Kevin Burns will recognize students from Western Avenue, Heartland and Mill Creek elementary schools as well as Geneva Middle School South during the ceremony. Art For All at City Hall will be videotaped (with the student artwork included at the end of the video) and will be shown on Geneva Broadcast Network and the City's YouTube channel following the event.

  6. National Drug Take-Back Day

    April 28, 2018, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Geneva Police Department

    The Geneva Police Department will be working with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in collecting expired or unwanted prescription medications as part of the National Drug Take-Back Day. People can turn in their medications throughout the day to the records specialist at the front desk of the Police Department. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
