Kane County Recycles is offering free document shredding along with electronics and book recycling event in March. The drive-through event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 8 at 540 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
Bring your confidential documents for shredding in paper bags or boxes. No quantity limit as long as it is residential material. No documents from businesses please. More guidelines can be found at the link below.
Recycle electronics like computers, keyboards, laptops, printers, televisions (any size or age), stereos, cell phones, microwaves, Christmas lights, and more. You can also recycle books of any age and condition here. We unload for you! A complete list of accepted items, and more information can be found at the link below.
Hazardous waste or large household appliances will not be accepted.
