A blizzard that produced about 8 inches of snow has pushed back Geneva's garbage collection one day later than normal during the week of Nov. 26.
Lakeshore Recycling announced the company will pick up trash and recycling Friday and Saturday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The normal Thursday-Friday schedule will resume the following week.
The City's curbside leaf collection has been temporarily halted through Tuesday, Nov. 27. Kramer Tree Service and the City will re-evaluate weather conditions later this week to determine next steps for the program. Updates will be posted online.
