Geneva residents and community stakeholders are invited to give their feedback regarding speeding and pedestrian safety through an online survey available on the City’s website.After identifying enhanced pedestrian safety as a goal in the City’s 2018 strategic plan, the City created a Speed Control Policy Task Force to review its existing policy, and, if necessary, provide recommendations to the City Council. The task force is comprised of residents from across each of Geneva’s five wards.The survey results will help broaden the task force’s understanding of the community's concerns and help focus efforts addressing speeding and pedestrian safety. The task force will be working with City staff this spring to draft policy recommendations, which are anticipated to be presented to the City Council on Monday, June 3.
