The Geneva Public Works Department is scheduled to install new water services Friday, Sept. 3 and Tuesday, Sept. 7 that will reduce a segment of Kaneville Road traffic to one lane.

Flaggers will be directing traffic on Kaneville Road from State Street (Route 38) to Country Club Place. Crews will begin work at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 3 and work throughout the day to install the new water infrastructure and discontinue service to an old water main.

Work should be completed prior to the evening rush hour Sept. 3, and all lanes of traffic will remain open throughout the Labor Day weekend. Construction is scheduled to resume at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 7 and hopefully will be finished later that day, weather permitting.
