Route 31 has been reduced to one lane Sept. 10 from Franklin to Fulton streets as the Geneva Public Works Department repairs a water leak.

Flaggers are directing traffic. Construction is scheduled to be completed before the evening rush hour.

Motorists may want to avoid the area and consider using Third Street or Route 25 as alternate routes. Drivers should exercise caution if they must drive through the work zone.
