The Geneva Public Works Department will begin repairing a State Street water leak at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9 that will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction near Harrison Street on the City's east side.

With construction taking place in the middle of the roadway, eastbound and westbound traffic will be funneled to outside lanes. Route 38 is anticipated to be reopened by the afternoon Dec. 9. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when driving through the work zone.
