Southbound traffic in the 1900 block of South Batavia Avenue (Route 31) has been reduced to one lane Jan. 31 as Geneva's Public Works Department repairs a water main break.

The Route 31 lane closure is located north of Fabyan Parkway near Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Work began at 8 a.m. and should be finished by this afternoon.

Motorists should exercise caution when driving through the work zone.
