[ARCHIVED] Tree Removal Will Reduce Route 31 To One Lane April 12

Road Work Ahead

Not road construction specifically, but First Street (Route 31) will be reduced to one lane Tuesday, April 12 as a City contractor takes down a parkway tree near Fulton Street.

The lane closure, which will require flaggers to direct traffic, is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. and should remain in place until 2 p.m. April 12. The entire roadway may need to be shut down intermittently for a few minutes as crews navigate the tree around power lines in the area.

Motorists are urged to use caution when driving through the work zone.
