The Geneva Fire Department has an important message for you if you have a smoke detector or a combination smoke detector/carbon monoxide alarm manufactured by Kidde.

In September, the Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall on certain Kidde devices that are defective.

Please take a minute to read the notice (see link below) and then check your detector's information to see if your alarm is part of the notice.
