A section of West State Street (Route 38) will be reduced to one lane in each direction Monday, Oct. 10 near the McKinley Avenue intersection due to roadway repairs.
The Geneva Public Works Department will be applying a roadway patch to State Street following the completion of a previous water infrastructure project.
Starting at 9 a.m., two lanes will be closed, and westbound traffic will be shifted to the eastbound side of the highway. Motorists may want to consider alternate routes. Drivers are urged to use caution if they do travel through the work zone. The project is anticipated to be finished prior to the evening rush hour.
