The City is working with Geneva Construction on 14 road resurfacing and drainage projects included in the 2022 street improvement program, which started in late July and is expected to be completed in October.
As a reminder, the construction timeline outlined for all streets is weather permitting. Here is the Oct. 14 update:
Western Avenue Cul-De-Sacs
The parkway will be seeded and mulched by Friday, Oct. 21 on the four cul-de-sacs near Western Avenue, including Ashbury, Croydon, Galway, and Windham courts.
Redwing Drive & Heather Road
Stone and pavers will be restored by Oct. 21. Pavement marking will be completed by the end of October.
Britta Lane & Geneva Drive Alleys
Punch list items including concrete driveways marked for repair will be completed on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
Viking Drive & Kaneville Road
Pavement marking will be finished by the end of October. A section of curb at 2525 Kaneville Road will be removed and replaced Oct. 18.
Executive Place
The first lift of asphalt is expected to be down Monday, Oct. 17.
Pioneer Court
One square of sidewalk will be removed and replaced Oct. 18
James Street
Parkway landscaping and restoration of the brick pavers will be completed by Oct. 21.
South Street
Parkway landscaping and restoration of the brick pavers will be completed by Oct. 21.
