Geneva Police officers will be present at two Dunkin’ stores to collect donations for the Law Enforcement Torch Run’s 20th annual Cop On a Rooftop event Friday, May 19. Money raised benefits Special Olympics Illinois.
From 6 to 11 a.m. May 19, officers will be stationed on Dunkin’ rooftops at 206 E. State St., Geneva and partnering with Batavia officers at the 2002 W. Wilson St., Batavia, location. Patrons who make a donation May 19 at a participating location will receive a free doughnut coupon. Guests donating at least $10 will earn a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug, while supplies last, and a coupon for a free medium coffee.
The Cop on a Rooftop event is one of several fundraising platforms for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, which is a collaborative effort from police departments across the nation to raise money for Special Olympics.
