With fall around the corner, Geneva Broadcast Network has new episodes airing throughout the month of September.
“Business Beat” promotes an important cause – Hunger Action Month – as we stopped by the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Mayor Kevin Burns takes a tour of the facility, which helps feed 71,000 people a week throughout 13 counties in the region. The show is airing at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
On “Geneva Works,” Public Works Director Rich Babica shares the latest with road construction, mosquito abatement, the fall leaf collection and other projects on tap in the near future. The program runs at 10:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. daily.
Teens are looking to become more involved in our community by joining the Student Government Committee. Geneva High School Senior Pranita Sarangabany discusses this new venture and why it is important for students to learn about their local government operations. “Officially Speaking” airs at 6:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. daily.
