[ARCHIVED] Next Phase Of Third Street Brick Repair Project Starts Oct. 2

Third Street Sidewalk Brick Ribbon

A City contractor will begin the second phase of brick repair and replacement project Monday, Oct. 2 on Third Street in downtown Geneva.

Brick ribbons along the sidewalk and curbs will be replaced on Third Street from State (Route 38) to James streets. The project, which is scheduled to take about a week to complete weather permitting, may cause minor traffic delays. The road will remain open to traffic in both directions.

Similar work was conducted on Third Street in August from Franklin to Crescent streets. Motorists are urged to use caution when driving through the downtown work zone.
