On November 10, 2017, guests came together to support the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission’s inaugural Art Affair fundraiser at the Geneva Golf Club. Inspired by the artistic past of 16th century salons in Europe and motivated by Geneva’s artistic present and future, Art Affair was designed as a salon style cocktail party. Competing with Gertrude Stein’s legendary Paris salon with attendees including Picasso, Hemingway, James Joyce and F. Scott Fitzgerald, Art Affair guests held their own! The atmosphere was festive, with plenty of spirited conversations, sipping, noshing and dancing. A grand time was had while guests generously contributed to the Commission’s mission and bid on an exceptional collection of artistic items and experiences.
Art Affair was a great success, thanks to the generous support of event sponsors, contributors, hosts and guests! The Geneva Cultural Arts Commission extends heartfelt thanks to…
