The City of Geneva recognizes that customers may be experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and therefore is offering a repayment plan program for delinquent balances incurred prior to Nov. 21, 2020. The repayment plan program provides the ability to pay the delinquent balance over a 12-month period beginning on Jan. 1, 2021 and concluding on or before Dec. 1, 2021.
Upon application, the delinquent balance on the utility account will be removed from the utility bill and invoiced on a monthly basis. Please note that payments under this program must be paid in person, by telephone, dropbox, or by mail. Payments made through the utility billing portal or online bank portal will not be applied to the plan and may result in a default on the repayment plan agreement.
Please complete the information below and submit this form to enroll in the Utility Billing Repayment Plan Program:
I acknowledge that any delinquent balance as of Nov. 21, 2020 will be invoiced over a 12-month period beginning Jan. 1, 2021 and payment in full is due on or before Dec. 1, 2021. In addition, failure to comply with the agreement may result in, without further notice, disconnection of the utility service at the service address listed above pursuant to the procedures outlined in the Geneva City Code. Lastly, I affirm that should I move from the subject property address, payment is due in full at the time of final reading date.
