A ComEd feeder line fault triggered a short outage for 304 Geneva customers on the City's east side.

While the City owns and operates its own utility, ComEd lines supply power to our Geneva electric substations. The outage, which occurred at 9:29 a.m., impacted residents living on Dearborn Court, Kirkwood Drive, and Averill Road as well as business customers along Fabyan Parkway and the Geneva Business Park.

Crews reset the lockout delay and restored power by 9:54 a.m.

Another 1,131 customers experienced a momentary disruption in service that lasted less than one minute.
