Geneva residents thanked the City for its response to the tornado that struck in and around the Pepper Valley subdivision. The first resident sent an email to the Public Works Department and the comments afterward were posted on the City’s social media accounts.
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding efficiency demonstrated by you and your crew in resolving the recent issue we faced. Since the unfortunate tornado hit us last Tuesday, it has been an incredibly stressful period dealing with the aftermath—cleaning up, tree removal, obtaining roof repair estimates, and navigating through insurance processes.
Upon noticing the temporary mailbox in our yard, we were already grateful for your assistance. However, our gratitude reached new heights when, in less than 24 hours, a real and brand new mailbox was installed on our property. This unexpected gesture turned out to be the highlight of our week, leaving us utterly speechless and profoundly grateful for the support you and your dedicated crew provided during this challenging time.
Your prompt and effective response has made a significant impact on our situation, and we sincerely thank you for going above and beyond in assisting us. Your professionalism, dedication, and kindness have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly humbled by your generosity.
Once again, thank you for your exceptional service and support. We are fortunate to have such a reliable and compassionate team helping us through this difficult period.
Warm regards,
Lifang T
It is great to see the City providing these services (garbage dumpsters and a special brush collection) to help our residents. Great job!
