The City of Geneva has been working on a water main infrastructure project along the Route 25 corridor (North Bennett Street) since October 2023. The primary project involves installing a new water main on the state highway from State (Route 38) to Jefferson streets. As a reminder, businesses along State Street and Route 25 remain open to local traffic. See the City's local business access map.
Jan. 11 Update
The contractor was able to pour the last portion of concrete necessary to complete water main construction project. The concrete needs time to cure, but the City anticipates Route 25 will be reopened to traffic sometime during the week of Jan. 15, weather permitting.
